Agricultural spraying uavs are a brand-new spraying method for crop protection against plant diseases and insect pests. The spraying effect is a question that is often asked. This is also the key to whether the drone can be fully promoted. Some factors that affect the spraying effect are as follows:

(1) Effectiveness of pesticides
Since the agricultural spraying uavs use ultra-trace and high-concentration spraying, the general dosage is about 500-700 ml per mu. At present, the pesticides used in domestic agricultural spraying uavs are basically concentrated ordinary pesticides sold in the market. Of course, aviation ultra-trace pesticides specially produced by some pesticide manufacturers and corresponding auxiliary agents can be used to ensure the use of pesticides.

(2) The method of spraying

Due to the small amount of application per unit area, the uniformity of spraying is critical. If there is no flight control, the height, speed and spraying volume of agricultural spraying uavs cannot be linked, especially when the aircraft is hovering, the amount of pesticides under the aircraft increases sharply, causing pesticide damage. The uneven flight spacing causes repeated spraying and leakage, which affects the spraying effect. Therefore, it is necessary to maintain a uniform speed and a certain height as far as possible during the entire operation of the plant protection drone, so as to ensure the effect.

(3) The technical level of the operator
Although most plant protection drones have been installed with industrial-grade flight control systems, which can ensure the aircraft's height is stable, the flight speed in actual operations still needs to be controlled manually, so the operator's proficiency will directly affect the spraying effect.

(4)Spraying system
At present, pressure type sprinklers and centrifugal sprinklers are mainly used. Since the flow rate of the pressure nozzle varies with the pressure in a relatively small range, the effect of controlling the flow rate according to the speed of the aircraft is not obvious. The centrifugal nozzle can adjust the flow according to the speed of the aircraft. However, due to the high-speed rotation of the centrifugal nozzle, the droplets of pesticides are relatively fine, and it is prone to drift and steaming. Therefore, the specific choice of spraying system also needs to be based on the actual situation of the user and the pesticides used.
