Idle speed instability is manifested as: during idling operation, the engine of the transportation vehicle in the factory trembles and the speed is uneven. The reasons for this are: clogging of the idle air metering hole, poor operation of the idle speed device, the spark plugs of individual cylinders are too weak, the individual valves are not tightly sealed, the intake manifold leaks, the ignition time is too early or too late, and the idle speed is not adjusted properly. When the idle speed of the engine is unstable, first adjust the idle speed. If the fault cannot be eliminated after the idle speed adjustment, check whether the idle speed metering hole and the idle air metering hole are blocked. If the metering hole is blocked, use gasoline or acetone to clean and blow through with compressed air; If the measuring hole is not blocked, the engine speed should be stabilized at a certain speed, and check whether there is air leakage in the intake manifold or carburetor, at the lower liner. If air leakage occurs, tighten the screws or add Eliminate the method of reducing the gasket. If the idle speed of the flatbed transporter is accompanied by a drop in engine power, the working condition of the spark plug, the sealing performance of the valve and the ignition time should be further checked, and if necessary, it should be repaired and adjusted.
The engine of a flat trailer that is working normally should be able to run evenly in the range of 300-500r / min. If the lowest stable engine speed exceeds this speed range, or the engine stalls and the speed is unstable within this speed range, it means no idle speed or poor idle speed. When the idling speed is bad, it can be divided into idling flameout, idling speed instability and idling speed too high according to the fault characteristics. If the engine runs well from low speed to high speed after the engine is started, but the engine is immediately turned off as soon as the accelerator pedal is released, or the engine is unstable and then turned off, it is an idle stall failure. If the engine of the flatbed truck is not running smoothly at idle speed, and the exhaust pipe makes a "sudden, sudden" sound, it is generally an unstable idle speed failure. If the minimum stable engine speed is higher than the specified range, and the engine speed cannot be reduced, the idle speed is too high or there is no idle speed failure.
Idle speed adjustment must be carried out under normal conditions such as normal engine temperature, proper valve clearance, normal ignition system, good sealing of all pipes, fully open choke valve, and tight closing of the throttle valve. When adjusting, first unscrew the throttle opening adjustment screw to make the engine reach the minimum stable speed. Then screw in the idle speed adjustment screw with a screwdriver. When the engine is about to shut down, slowly unscrew the idle speed adjustment screw to make the engine run stably and reach high speed. Then unscrew the throttle opening adjustment screw, so that the engine speed can be reduced to a minimum. Then adjust the idle speed adjustment screw to increase the engine speed. This is repeated until the throttle opening is minimum and the engine is running at the lowest stable speed. Finally, increase the speed and close the throttle abruptly, it is advisable that the engine of the transportation truck in the factory still rotates without turning off.
