Flat trailer brake system
Flat car brake system is we often say brake system, generally used hydraulic power system, by the brake pedal, brake fluid, brake pump, brake oil, brake pump, brake (disc brake and drum brake) and other components. During braking, the foot steps on the brake pedal will drive the brake master pump to move the brake oil to the brake sub-pump, which then ACTS on the brake pad/brake disc or drum brake, forcing the wheel speed down to achieve the braking effect.
Disc brake, disc brake is also sometimes called disc brake, brake when the use of oil pressure to push the brake pump is actually brake calipers, brake pad extrusion brake disc, friction, block wheel rotation, play the role of deceleration. The main advantage of disc brake is that it can brake quickly when the flat truck brakes at high speed, the cooling effect is better than the drum brake, the braking efficiency is constant, and it is convenient to install advanced electronic equipment like ABS. Disc brake using metal disc instead of a drum, in a flat on both sides of the brake disc brake shoe, flatbed trailer when the brake master cylinder to cylinder hydraulic pressure to the points, make to the brake disc brake shoe clips, to achieve the effect of brake tight, is now widely used in the front wheel, its advantage is sensitive, good heat dissipation effect, easy maintenance, don't need to adjust the platform car brake clearance.
Brake fluid, brake fluid is the liquid medium that transfers the brake pressure in the automobile hydraulic braking system. It is used in the vehicle that adopts the hydraulic braking system. Brake Fluid is also called the Brake oil or PaiLi oil, the English called Brake Fluid, are integral parts of a Brake system, and in the flat truck Brake system, it is as a force transfer medium, because the liquid can't be compressed, so the total pump output pressure will directly by the Brake Fluid pump to points.
Drum brake, the early flat truck used the drum brake brake system, drum brake and tire fixed and rotation at the same speed. When braking, oil pressure is applied to push the brake shoes in contact with the inner edge of the brake drum, and the friction generated by the contact is used to restrain the wheel rotation to achieve the purpose of braking. Drum brake by the brake floor, brake pump, brake shoe and other related connecting rod, spring, pin, brake drum. At present, it is only commonly used in the rear wheel. The cost of drum brake is lower and the braking force is higher. When the brake pedal is pressed, the foot force causes the piston in the brake master pump to push the brake oil forward and create pressure in the oil. Pressure is transmitted to each wheel's brake pump piston through the brake oil. The piston of the brake pump pushes the brake pad outward, causing friction between the brake pad and the inner surface of the brake drum, and generating enough friction to reduce the speed of the wheel to achieve the purpose of the flat car's braking.
